Potbelly Sunburst

15.00
A stitched painting created on calico fabric with deep green embroidered thread. It is layered with translucent silk papers and acrylic paint.

This potbelly telephone dates back to 1903 and is called 'Sunburst' because its finger wheel was designed with sun's rays radiating from its centre.
Inspired by my love of detail and vintage objects the piece is part of the 'Talkies' collection which documents how we used to communicate in the past.

THE ORIGINAL
- A stitched painting measuring 30cm high and 30cm wide (standard A3 proportions).
- Deep green threads are embroidered over natural calico fabric and brought to life with vintage green and cinnamon coloured translucent papers and acrylic pigments.
- It is stretched on a wooden board and is ready for framing.
- My signature is embroidered into the artwork.

THE FINE ART GICLÉE PRINT
- Professionally printed in Barcelona using Fine Art heavyweight archival paper, which looks and feels like watercolour paper. Printed using UltraChrome archival inks which are fade resistant. A GICLÉE is a high quality process that produces pure colour, high resolution prints that faithfully mirror the vibrant colours and textures of the original stitched painting.

Sizes include a border around the image and are ready for framing.

- The print will have the title and my signature along the bottom edge beneath the image.

PLEASE NOTE that the colour you see on your screen may differ slightly from the colour of the original. Also, the watermark that you may see on your screen will not be on the original stitched painting or giclée print you receive.

Originals and prints are carefully packed in a sturdy cardboard box or tube and shipped to you using a registered/signed-for postal service with a tracking number.
