Batidora Flotante (PRINT)

Batidora Flotante (Floating Mixer), inspired by my love of vintage everyday objects. I grew up with this mixer in the house. Wizzing up ingredients in an electric food processor just can't be compared to the experience of weaving them together in this batidora - vertical motion is transformed into horizontal as you turn and turn (and turn) with your hand. In England during the 1970s and 1980s, my sister used to make us lots of cakes during the school holidays using this hand mixer. Our favourite would have to be the Upside Down Topsy Turvey Pineapple Cake!
