A stitched painting created on calico fabric with midnight blue embroidered thread. It is layered with translucent silk papers and acrylic paint of warm autumnal shades. 'October Harvest' is inspired from my days out mushroom hunting during the month of October.
October is the best month for this autumnal activity in Catalonia when you'll find the forests buzzing with foragers.

THE ORIGINAL - A stitched painting measuring 29 x 16.3 cm. - Midnight blue threads are embroidered over cotton calico fabric and brought to life with translucent papers and with acrylic pigments. - It is stretched on a wooden board and is ready for framing. - My signature is embroidered into the artwork.
