This Pharmacy is one of the few authentic shops of its kind left in Barcelona. Its rich Catalan Art Nouveau facade inspired me to create this piece of art.
During the Modernista period at the turn of the 19th century (also known as Art Nouveau) pharmacies were a favourite for showing off this architectural style.

THE ORIGINAL - A mixed media piece measuring 30 x 40 cm which includes an acid-free mount/mat. - Created with acrylic pigments, translucent papers and archival ink over heavy weight acid-free watercolour paper - My signature and the title are inked into the piece.

- Professionally printed in Barcelona using Hahnemuhle William Turner acid-free paper. - Printed using UltraChrome archival inks which are fade resistant. A GICLÉE is a high quality process that produces pure colour, high resolution prints that faithfully mirror the vibrant colours and textures of the original stitched painting.
Print sizes include an acid-free window mount/mat and is ready for framing. Sold unframed.
- The print will have the title and my signature along the bottom edge beneath the image.
